Hicky—mark making from a lover, young rebellion, a bruise, blood vessels bursting just below the skin, blood being drawn close with the lips and tongue.

For this performance, the making of these marks (usually a private experience shared between couples) is performed publicly, with sound amplified, on the artists own body. 

 Making visible an interior loneliness and need for human touch, the artist gestures towards the question, “Can we hold ourselves?”
